What Divit believes

Strict with the system, gentle with the person.

That inversion is the whole design. Every decision below is an instance of it.

    Your AI should not be allowed to move your things.

    Divit’s AI reads what you captured and proposes where it belongs. Then it stops. Nothing moves between lists, and nothing reaches your calendar, until you say so. Every other app is racing to let its agent act on your behalf. This one is forbidden to.

    Guilt is not a productivity feature.

    No streaks to break. No red overdue counts. No badge counting how far behind you are. Come back after three weeks away and Divit shows you what’s there, not what you missed — because an app that makes you feel bad for opening it is an app you stop opening.

    A list that accepts anything is not a list.

    Divit enforces GTD rather than suggesting it. Someday cannot appear in Today. The calendar takes only things with a real date and time. There are no priority numbers and no board view, because GTD doesn’t have them. The rigor is what keeps the system trustworthy without constant upkeep.

    A task and a habit are not the same kind of thing.

    A task is a decision you make once and discharge. A habit is a promise you renew every morning, and some mornings you break it. Put them in one app and the broken promises sit next to the real work.
